I am using this as my first go at using Komplete's drum kits, synths etc. I am currently building a project in Logic X sampling a song through the EXS24 sampler. but i've only just updated them?Īnd possibly the most concerning. It says they could be corrupt, or need updating. Now my instruments are updated - only the Giant Piano works - none of the others do. I sent them an enquiry, only to get a response 4 days later that directed me straight to an internet link that does not help what I originally asked for.

so actually older than mine? I am confused as to how to rectify this, and honestly - NI's customer service so far hasn't impressed me. It would appear the latest version online is only v2.5.

Checked for an update - mine is version 2.6.0.137. Fails to download every time I try to download anything through it. The Service Center is still, in my experience - useless.

I have sorted my Polyplex issue - turns out it was the scale setting from previous use interfering with it - all okay now. Okay - so I have took the plunge and upgraded to Logic X, as well as manually downloading all the available software updates for the Komplete instruments from the NI website directly. Thank you to anyone who can help me here. it doesn't filter through to Logic? It seems odd that the keyboard KNOWS what it is playing, so clearly has the data - but it doesn't show this on Logic? So if i'm using the arp mode, scale or whatever (which were big reasons for me to get the S49 - I am currently learning to play the keyboard and this will help me with scales) - although the keyboard knows it is playing more than one note, or playing a D if i set the root note to be C1.

I can record through logic using the 1-3-5 chord mode for example - but it only actually shows that i'm using one key ? The sound is that of a chord, but to change it, or maybe also copy and paste that midi info into a non-komplete instrument - it makes this impossible. Now admittedly I haven't used it in a while - has this now been fixed? I suppose what i'm basically asking is - is it worth now taking the plunge and upgrading to Logic X?įinally. My question is - what am I missing, from using Logic 9 over Logic 10? Are there some features I won't be getting by not using X? The reason I don't currently use X is due to the bugs that were in X and how it crashes randomly sometimes.

I read the software is designed to integrate with Logic X which I know is 64 bit only. So I changed my Logic 9 to 64 bit mode and I can now open and use Komplete Kontrol - good news. Now it is box 4? Am I missing something here? There always seems to be one of the boxes that doesn't have keys assigned to it? I could click it, but none of they keys on the keyboard triggered it. For some reason, on some I loaded up initially there was no key that corresponded to box 7. You have the different coloured keys / boxes which trigger different sounds from 1-8. I am the new owner of Komplete 10 and the S49 keyboard and after a few early teething problems have a few questions.
